As we look back on 2025, one thing is clear: this year was filled with meaningful moments, vibrant celebrations, and countless opportunities to connect with the community we are so proud to call home. From cultural festivities and family-friendly traditions to charitable fundraisers and seasonal favourites, every event reflected what matters most to us—bringing people together and giving back in ways that truly matter.
Here’s a look back at the incredible events that made 2025 so special.
Lunar New Year: Year of the Snake
We kicked off the year with culture, colour, and celebration at the Lunar New Year – Year of the Snake event in partnership with Red Leaf Cultural Integration at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. This beautiful celebration honoured tradition, community, and new beginnings, setting the tone for a year rooted in inclusivity and togetherness.
Design Trends Expo
Hosted at our office, the Design Trends Expo brought homeowners, renovators, and design lovers together to explore the latest in home trends and inspiration. We were thrilled to feature incredible local and industry partners including Andersons, Burlington Paint, Covers, Eden Tile, ShelfGenie, Eurofase Lighting, and more. It was a day filled with ideas, conversations, and creativity—proof that great design truly starts with great collaboration.
SPCA Fundraiser at Ren’s Pets
One of the most heart-warming events of the year was our SPCA Fundraiser at Ren’s Pets, where furry friends and their families came out for a day of fun for a great cause. From paw-print paintings to the Dogtopia agility course, the event was packed with smiles, wagging tails, and generosity—all in support of animals in need.
Waterdown Easter Egg Hunt
A true community favourite, the Waterdown Easter Egg Hunt returned to Memorial Park and did not disappoint. Kids of all ages—from toddlers to teens—joined in the excitement of hunting for eggs, laughing, and making springtime memories. This beloved tradition continues to be one of our most joyful events year after year.
RBG Alice in Bloomland
Spring magic came to life at the Royal Botanical Gardens’ Alice in Bloomland event. Surrounded by breathtaking floral displays and whimsical storytelling, this experience was a reminder of the beauty, creativity, and imagination that thrives right here in our community.
Moon in June Road Race & Kids Fest
The Moon in June Road Race and Kids Fest was a standout fundraising success in support of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton. We were proud to host a tent in Kids Fest, complete with games, colouring activities, and free swag. The energy, enthusiasm, and generosity of the community made this event truly unforgettable.
Sound of Music Festival
One of Burlington’s biggest weekends of the year, the Sound of Music Festival brought non-stop excitement to Spencer Smith Park. We were honoured to lead the parade on Saturday and add a splash of pink to the festivities with free popsicles at our office. All weekend long, our tent in the park welcomed families for games, giveaways, contests, and endless fun
Appleby Line Street Festival
The Appleby Line Street Festival delivered everything we love—great food, amazing vendors, live entertainment, and a strong sense of community spirit. It was an incredible day celebrating local businesses and neighbourhood connections.
Falling for Burlington Downtown
Autumn arrived in style as we took over Civic Square for Falling for Burlington Downtown. The afternoon was filled with fall fun, seasonal photo opportunities, and creative moments as kids coloured their very own trick-or-treat bags. It was the perfect way to celebrate the changing season together.
Fall Gratitude Client Event
Gratitude was at the heart of our Fall Client Appreciation Event. We welcomed everyone who stopped by with FREE pies and hosted an exclusive fall sampling experience featuring local vendors. It was our way of saying thank you to the incredible clients and community members who continue to support us year after year.
Halloween Trick-or-Treat
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without welcoming little ghosts and goblins into the office. As always, kids were invited to stop by for treat bags and candy, making our annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat a fun and festive stop on their route.
Flamborough Santa Claus Parade
A holiday highlight in Waterdown, the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade brought festive cheer and excitement to the community. This much-loved tradition continues to be a magical moment for families every season.
Burlington Santa Claus Parade
Our iconic pink inflatable holiday float made its return at the Burlington Santa Claus Parade, spreading joy (and pink candy canes!) along the route. At the office, we also hosted a cozy tent with free hot chocolate and cookies, creating a warm gathering spot for parade-goers of all ages.
Letters to Santa
We wrapped up the year with one of our most heart-felt events: Letters to Santa. Kids of all ages visited our office to write their holiday wishes, dropping their letters into our special pink mailbox—sent straight to Santa’s desk. It was a magical way to close out the year and celebrate the wonder of the season.
Thank You for an Incredible Year
To everyone who attended, supported, partnered, volunteered, and celebrated with us—thank you. These events are more than dates on a calendar; they are moments that strengthen our community and remind us why we do what we do.
Here’s to another year of connection, celebration, and FUN!
