A Sweet Spring Tradition: Waterdown Easter Egg Hunt Recap

What an incredible way to welcome the spring season! The Annual Waterdown Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Lions Club of Waterdown, was once again a huge success — bringing together families from across the community for a morning filled with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

From the early morning, Memorial Park was buzzing with energy as families gathered, baskets in hand and smiles all around. The anticipation built quickly as little ones lined up, ready for the hunt to begin. Once it did, the park came alive — children of all ages eagerly searching for eggs, laughter echoing throughout, and proud parents capturing every special moment. It was truly a joy to witness.

The Rocca Sisters Team was so proud to be a sponsor of this cherished community event. Being part of such a meaningful tradition and connecting with so many wonderful families is something we truly value. We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new members of the community, and sharing in the excitement of the day. Our booth was filled with happy little visitors stopping by for treats, adding to the festive atmosphere.

One of the most heartwarming aspects of the event was the incredible support shown for the Flamborough and Waterdown Food Banks. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, we were able to collect a number of non-perishable food donations — a reminder of how strong and supportive this community truly is. It’s moments like these that go beyond the fun and highlight the power of coming together for a greater cause.

Events like the Waterdown Easter Egg Hunt are what make this community so special. They create opportunities for families to slow down, spend quality time together, and build lasting memories. Whether it was a child’s excitement after finding their first egg, friends reconnecting in the sunshine, or neighbours meeting for the first time, the morning was filled with meaningful connections.
