Happy St Patrick's Day! It's the time of the year where pink turns green!
DID YOU KNOW? The Rocca Sisters have a very special link to the Irish culture? Our mother was Irish! Her family proudly comes from Cork, Ireland. One of our favourite Irish traditions brought to us from our mom and our Irish family was making "ballymaloe" or "stobhach gaelach" which is a traditional Irish Stew containing chunks of lamb or mutton, potatoes, onions and parsley!
St Patrick's Day is also known as the Feast of Saint Patrick, which is a cultural and religious celebration held in March to commemorate Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. It also celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general. Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, céilithe, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks.
