The Magic of the Moon in June Road Race and Kids Fest

Each year as summer beckons, Burlington becomes a hub of excitement with the Moon in June Road Race, a cherished community event that has something special for everyone in the family. This year the event is benefitting The Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton (CAFH) which is the only charity in the Region of Halton whose sole purpose is to provide support, relief and opportunities for children, youth and families involved in the child welfare system. CAFH offers opportunities for healing, growth, education and the chance to create happy childhood memories.

While the race itself offers a range of distances suitable for all ages and fitness levels, a particular highlight is the Kids Fest, an enchanting experience designed to ignite the imaginations and energize the spirits of the youngest participants.

The Rocca Sisters are proudly sponsoring KidsFest presented by Decathlon Sports! This is a FREE pre-race event, for children of all ages to play some active games, face painting and a wide variety of fun games and experiences.  Join us from 4:00 -7:00pm!

Perhaps what makes the Kids Fest truly special is its ability to bring families and communities together. Parents and children share in the excitement, supporting each other and making new friends. It’s a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn about sportsmanship, community involvement, and healthy living.
