Burlington

Burlington kicks the month off with one of its most beloved traditions.

• Burlington Ribfest, September 4 to 7. A long-running local favourite with ribs, live music, and a genuine community atmosphere along the waterfront.
• Burlington Asian Night Market, September 18 to 20. Food vendors, cultural performances, and evening market energy right in the heart of the city.
• Walk'n Roll, hosted by Community Living Burlington, September 19. A community walk supporting inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Oakville

Oakville's September calendar leans into culture and community, with events spread across the whole month.

• Oak Park Fall Fair, September 12. Now in its 29th year, this neighbourhood staple at Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre is a great one for families.
• Asian Heritage Festival, September 19, at Fowley Park. A free celebration with live performances, food trucks, and cultural booths.
• Culture Days, September 18 through October 4. A national celebration with events happening across Oakville all month long.
• Fall Market at Oakville Place, September 18 to 20. A shopping-friendly weekend market during regular mall hours.

Milton

Milton's biggest weekend of the year lands in late September, but there's plenty happening before that too.

• Pooch and Hearts, September 12, at the Milton Fairgrounds. Halton's biggest dog event of the year.
• The World Within Milton, September 19, part of Culture Days, celebrating the many cultures that call Milton home.
• An Evening with Mary Walsh, September 23. A comedy and storytelling evening at the FirstOntario Arts Centre.
• Milton Fall Fair, September 25 to 27. Marking over 170 years of tradition, with a midway, demolition derby, livestock shows, and classic fair food.

Halton Hills

Halton Hills tends to keep its biggest agricultural celebrations tied to the fall season as well, with community fairs and markets happening throughout Georgetown and Acton.
